In September 2005 POLANOID.NET was launched as a platform for everybody addicted to the instant fun of Polaroids. Soon the first 100 members were registered and the first 10 000 images uploaded. Today, POLANOID features 5 000 registered artists with well over 60 000 uploaded instant photos. This third volume of the Pocket Polaroid Series presents a collection of instant photos that members of the website voted as their "SHOT OF THE DAY" selected from the pictures uploaded every day. It is not only an excellent best of POLANOID.NET’s first year, but also provides an amazing overview of the creative opportunities the analog instant material offers its users.
